This is a great product for storing 12 x 12 sheets of paper. Vertical is much easier for paper storage, because you are not working against gravity like you do with horizontal storage. You can easily thumb through your papers and find a color quickly. It is also much easier to keep paper stored, as cardstock gets heavy in bulk. With this, you can slide the whole thing on and off the shelf, use what you want, and put it back on the shelf. Also, you can organize easily, and got light to dark or color to color with these containers. Again, it is because the paper is vertical, and no extra weight is pushing against it, that is the advantage to these storeage paper holders.

Most of my paper is stored horizontally which I really do love. But I had a ton of over flow and needed another solution for organization. I tried out a couple of these and will be getting more. They hold a lot of paper, I am putting my cardstock in there and it is very easy to see all the color and select. They can be a bit tippy, but when full sit nicely. I like that I can easily grab it off the shelf and have nearby. I have not tested with patterned paper yet, not sure when it is full how easy it will be to thumb through, will need to buy more to test that out. Overall very happy.

I wanted to like these, but they are just flimsy. It comes flat so I had to keep adjusting it for it to take a square shape and for the corners to stand straight. Well they never stood straight and the two tabs on the bottom don’t stay all the way down. Once they have a lot of paper in them, they stand up on their own, although unsteadily. I have one filled half with paper and I had to put a small book in there to keep it from tipping over. The plastic seems heavy enough so I’m not sure why they’re so flimsy.

I’m happy they store 12×12 paper and I like it vertical so I can just thumb through all the paper. As long as it’s filled with paper, card stock or whatever, it’s nice for storage. If it’s only half full of something, get a book end or rest it up on something because it didn’t stay upright for me.
